Just before 11 PM on August 18th, The members of the Selden Fire Department were activated for our first call of the night. From that point until 3 AM, over 25 calls for help were handled. These calls included Fire Alarms in residences & Businesses, Flooding Conditions resulting in life hazards in residences and stranded motorists who were trapped in their vehicles in the flash flooding conditions.
